Gas Sponsorship

Overview

Gas sponsored swaps on BSC enable users to execute token swaps without needing to pay or hold any BNB for transaction fees. Swaps will continue to be enabled for these users and they will continue to pay swap fees without having to resort to a different provider to re-fund their account.

BSC-Specific Use Cases

Primary Use Cases

• No BNB Holdings: Users hold tokens like USDC or other ERC-20 tokens but have zero SOL balance

• CEX-to-Wallet Onboarding: Users transferring assets from centralized exchanges who receive tokens but no BNB for transaction fees

• Cross-Chain Bridge Recipients: Users receiving tokens from other chains who lack BNB for subsequent transactions

Common Scenarios

• User holds 1,000 USDC but 0 BNB and wants to swap to another token

• User has 0.00000001 BNB but not enough to pay the transaction fee

• New user receives airdropped tokens that they want to swap into USDC

• The list of swap providers you use (e.g. Rango, 1inch, ...)

• The number of sponsored swaps each user can take advantage of each day

• Any additional limitations (examples below)

  • Only sponsor users that hold a certain token

  • Maximum sponsorable gas limit

  • Max sponsor cost per transaction

  • Whether you want to only sponsor transactions that are profitable for you when factoring in swap or referral fees
